Responsibilities:
- Conduct hourly rounds of designated areas between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Monitor life support equipment and systems for
- Establish a familiarity with all systems in the facility.
- Become familiar with all components of a typical life support system.
- Establish an understanding of typical behavior of animals in the collection.
- Learn to distinguish patterns of equipment and animal behavior.
- Be able to operate autonomously.
- Provide complete and accurate status of the facility, equipment, and systems when relieved at shift change.
Experience Required
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid TX Drivers license with an insurable record
