• The Role: Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) has a team of over 50 animal care professionals. The Aquarists I role contributes to this team by caring for a variety of aquatic animals including daily husbandry tasks, supporting animal training and welfare practices, and ensuring tanks/habitats are in optimal condition. This role is primarily based in Springfield, MO with some opportunities to support other Conservation Attractions.
• The Ask: A successful Aquarist typically has a minimum of two to four years' experience working in an aquarium or other professional setting along with a Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field. Aquarists also function as divers, and must be possess adequate swimming and diving abilities.

• The Fine Print: This position typically works early morning hours through the early afternoon. Weekend and holiday coverage is typical.
