Downtown Aquarium Denver is an AZA accredited aquarium containing 1.125 million gallons of aquatic exhibits in a 107,000 square ft. facility. The aquatic and terrestrial exhibits house over 11,000 fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and invertebrates represented in a diverse collection of over 700 species.
Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with visitors in exhibits.
- Oversee visitor/animal interactions at touch tank areas.
- Maintain exhibit cleanliness during open hours including, but not limited to, cleaning acrylic/glass, sweeping floors, picking up trash, emptying trash bins, squeegeeing floors, dusting, etc.
- Provide guests with information on the animals and exhibits
- Assist with educational programs and events
