- Use storytelling / improvisation techniques to connect guests with animals and exhibits, and interpret the mission of the aquarium
- Monitor various exhibits and instruct guests on approved techniques for interacting with animals
- Facilitate public interpretive programs with the use of bio-facts, animal ambassadors, and approved exhibit/ animal guides
- Follow established procedures for opening and closing exhibit areas
- Attend safety trainings and other related professional development courses
- Maintain consistent cleanliness of work and public areas at all stations
- Interact positively with all staff members and volunteers
Experience Required
Less than High School diploma or general education degree (GED); up to one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
