Catering Leads are needed only for events. Our events calendar is published months in advance so you can see which events fit your schedule. Most events are during the evenings. Weekly hours cannot be guaranteed yet you will have the flexibility to work around your schedule.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all buffet and bar services – buffet attendants, dishwashers, bartenders
- Manage a staff of up to 10 people
- Responsible for all food service operations
- Being responsible for opening and closing duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to display and live out our Lead with Love principles strongly rooted in the company culture by being: patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, and dedicated.
- Be able to delegate duties
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with food service equipment and buffet setups.
- Basic understanding of inventory management practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to assist guests and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach to work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of post-offer background check
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to remain on feet for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend and stoop
- Physical strength, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable transportation; public bus service is not typically available at the conclusion of most evening events
