ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive planned giving program to attract and engage donors.
  • Cultivate relationships with current and potential donors to promote planned giving opportunities.
  • Lead a portfolio of planned giving donors, providing excellent stewardship and ensuring their philanthropic goals are met.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate planned giving strategies into overall fundraising efforts.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and effective strategies in planned giving to improve program outcomes.
  • Track and report on planned giving metrics to measure program success.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Training and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing).
  • Demonstrated experience in planned giving or major gifts fundraising, including a track record of successfully closing gifts.
  • Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of planned giving vehicles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to establish relationships and engage donors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and donor management software.
