ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement a comprehensive planned giving program to attract and engage donors.
- Cultivate relationships with current and potential donors to promote planned giving opportunities.
- Lead a portfolio of planned giving donors, providing excellent stewardship and ensuring their philanthropic goals are met.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate planned giving strategies into overall fundraising efforts.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and effective strategies in planned giving to improve program outcomes.
- Track and report on planned giving metrics to measure program success.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Training and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing).
- Demonstrated experience in planned giving or major gifts fundraising, including a track record of successfully closing gifts.
- Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of planned giving vehicles and strategies.
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to establish relationships and engage donors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and donor management software.
