What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Develop the Team: Manage and mentor Rides Maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the training, resources, and support needed to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Oversee Maintenance Operations: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance schedules for rides and attractions, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Conduct daily safety inspections, manage annual ride inspections, and ensure adherence to Ohio Department of Agriculture regulations and industry standards.
- Resource Management: Maintain an inventory of necessary parts and tools, working with purchasing to ensure adequate stock for all maintenance needs.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement preventative maintenance programs and identify opportunities for process improvements to minimize downtime and improve ride performance.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with manufacturers, inspectors, and other internal teams to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of any issues.
- Support Budget Planning: Contribute to operating and capital budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Experience Required
Education:
- B.S. in Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 5+ years of general maintenance experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in the safe operation, maintenance, and inspection of amusement and water rides.
- Understanding of UV sanitation and safety protocols is a plus. Licensure:
- CPO and/or AFO licensure as a certified pool operator required pursuant to work assignment.
Leadership:
- Proven ability to manage a diverse team, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively.
Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to obtain NAARSO/AIMS certifications within 18 months.
Flexibility:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, particularly during peak season.

Salary
- The salary for this position is $81,640 to $104,090 depending on experience.
